SpaceArtists has a new website :)

Tue Nov 9, 2004, 2:42 AM
For those of you who are interested in space artwork, the group has just finished their new website. And i Psamtik, was one of the two people that have been working their asses off this last week to get the thing running.

We hope that you will be interested in registering with us and using our forums for your artwork. We have developed the forums so that, not only do the official SA members get their own private gallery showing, but those of you who would like to develop your skills in space art, come to our forums, post your best work and get criticism :) We want to help everyone to get better in what they love.

We will also be hosting all of the tutorials you will find here including more, but this is just the tip of the iceberg :D.

Though the site is still undergoing some construction around the forums, we're possitive that you will enjoy your stay. We hope you will register with us and help our community grow and become popular. We currently have over 50 official members of SA, yet only 5-6 of them have registered, so please persuade them to get moving by lending your support! :)

SpaceArtists v3

---------------------------------------- ------------------------

Sci-Fi Source is the #1 account here at DA bringing the community all obtainable resources and tutorials to assist users to produce the outstanding work they're looking forward to in the science fiction region from other members.
Sci-Fi art is building rapidly like the abstract art that’s sweeping the nation, including those trendwhores. We’re here to assist amateurs and well experienced artists to develop on they’re current understanding.

Over time our goals are to have an entire account full of tutorials and resources for members to use and to develop from. If you have anything that you have to add to the collection please send it to psamtik at psamtik@inveigh.net

**Rules**

The rules are straight forward and more a less are just guidelines that need to be respected.

:bulletred:As you all know ripping is not accepted or tolerated and we will deal with the problem accordingly and in a mature fashion.

:bulletred:These resources and tutorials are here for members to develop. Downloading them and using them on work is entirely permitted, there are no limits but try to learn from these available sources.

Thank you

arg, dA ate my post...well, just wanted to say that a first quick look at the site looked very promising, it has a nice layout, and I am sure the content will be there too...one question, will spaceartists.com be interested in affiliations, even if the site is not about space art (an art site though of course)

Hi,

Thanks for these excellent tutorials. I have a question. I've search the net many, many times for a tutorial on how to make rings around a planet. They all are tutorials for Photoshop, but i need a tutorial for 3ds max. Could you help me?
:iconscifisrc:
no because this is a photoshop group, like 90% of the scifi artists here at DA use photoshop. Sorry, try scifi-meshes.com
